About Sofia

Sofia's deep reverence for nature is reflected in the way she captures so much depth, detail, and mystery in every painting. There is nothing she finds more beautiful than God's sentient creations; whether it is a gentle landscape, a curious critter, or the  miraculous human form - with a special emphasis on the divine feminine. 

Sofia is extremely nocturnal and spends most of her nights painting. She is half Colombian, half Irish - entonces, sí, habla español.  She is originally from Pflugerville, Texas, has lived in Seattle and Tennessee, and is now living on the beach in Oxnard, California with her lovely husband, Adam, and their dog, Leo. She is the resident artist at Red Tandem Brewery where her husband brews delightfully refreshing beer.
